The 3,5L V8 is a very thirsty engine. This in
combination with the weight and the aerodynamics
of the ambulance makes it very expensive to drive
the beast around in Europe. In Holland LPG is
everywhere available and cheap so I did a lpg
conversion. The 110 L tank was placed at the right
side of the vehicle, on top of the petrol tank. |
